I'm not getting tired of this now things are moving on to a bit more of an edgier level. We've been breaking in pretty steadily lately, with zombies inside the place for roughly 1/3rd of each day. It's getting there... slowly (kinda appropriate for zombies though!) Plus, I'm guessing it's more fun on the survivor side waking up with an infection and a bunch of rotters in the building to deal with anyway, rather than EHB all the way and nothing really worthwhile to do with the AP

Damn right! Must be real boring being a maxed survivor nowadays, they make up about a quarter of all survivor levels in UD! Many thanks to the DHPD, Extinction owes u big time for puttin on a decent show, very entertaining and keep the CR's coming, Zeug will want free running sooner rather than later.

Being maxed out and in command I see my job as making sure new players have fun and don't get discouraged quickly. If they leave the game we all lose.

Much more fun being a low-level zombie than a low-level harman It's not until you get a bunch of skills permed that the survivor game starts to get more interesting.

...a little delayed post? I think this thread died nearly a month ago.
Anyways, how is your fight against the DHPD going? Bored of the area?

Is some random person a teenybopper? As in a not particularly interesting and more or less predictable schoolyard babbler? Makes for very boring discussions. Anyways, Extinction had initial success against the DHPD in Peddlesden and Dunell Hills back in April/March while the Mall Tour city wide disruption was ongoing and the stats were reversed 3-2 in favour of zombies, no EHB free runs all the way back to a powered Caiger Mall. Since the Tour retired there's been a huge revival in standing living and it seems the Tour was the main driver keeping 20% of survivors down and Malton a sea of red burbs on the NT Map. The UD game engine seems to have been set to favour defense against massive feral concentrations like the Tour and when it disbands the defensive balance tips massively in favour of survivors with their low AP usage for barricading and ridiculous 1AP per click free running ... it's a coding balance problem which the recent barricading changes might help to redress. The current AP balance between de-barricading and barricading makes it hard for smaller more focused zed forces like Extinction, even the combined RRF and Feral Undead couldn't take Santlerville recently, so we have to adapt and be flexible and try to make Zombie gameplay something interesting and fun to do by communicating that to the zeds around us ... and feeding them brains to make them happy. Anyways if Crimson Clan want to dazzle us with their wit and knowledge of gaming theory feel free to post a new topic thread for it in the General Board. This DHPD thread and the older one linked to above are from the now suspended operation in PV and DH.

Congrats on the improvements to your tactics and coordination. I'll be honest, we're really hard-pressed now.

Is it really only 3 months since the end of the Peddlesden campaign? And yes Extinction has grown a lot and we're happy to be back in the DMZ! And very good to see you again on the forum and in the City FmrPFCBob, did you like my infected bite when you started cading Burrell today? And reading back on this thread I think it was really lucky we came up against the DHPD at Bascombe NT when we did, you lot were awesome then and pretty much every survivor defense since then hasn't come even close to the wall you put up there. But we're a lot bigger now and infinitely more coordinated and yes ... you've got quite a fight on your hands if you want to keep a hold of Molebank and the rest of the DMZ. Best of luck though, as always, a pleasure to do bizness with you!

Ah, that was you? That bite and the continuously falling cades made me realize we'll need an NT somewhere or we'll be going to Dulston for syringes. I appreciate your assessment of DHPD's defense in PV. I hope we can rise to the same level (or better) in the current tidal wave of zombies as it shambles South.

Yes thanks Bob, nice little incursion deep into contested territory, now if you could just arrange for a decent force to strike at Caiger Mall to split the zed response I think you might have a toe hold. Trouble is organizing those damn survivors!
Been waiting for a good counter attack, and glad to see it's the DHPD leading the way!

Only 1 DHPD member remembers me but thats probably because I killed him 4 times as a zombie (before calvert malls 2nd fall) and tried to PK him as a human (during the 2nd siege). To bad I don't remember his name.

See, that's where we have an issue. We enjoy all of our limbs attached.
Just wanted to stop by and say while I don't approve of some of Extinctions tactics I do enjoy the challenge you provide. Overall our continuing campaign with you has been entertaining. I also appreciate the lack of trolling and flaming some other groups do when they fight, its not personal its just an apocalypse. Plus we have several minors in DHPD and being a parent myself I wouldn't want them to encounter some of the stuff I've seen before and end up having to quit because of their parents reaction.
Anyway, back to the city ...
