Attention all zombies! This idea is something I've been doing automatically with my AP for a while, so I figured I'd share the benefits.
When you are faced with a building you want to destroy, ask yourself a question:
Can I take down all of the barricades with the AP I currently have?
If the answer is no, then don't try to.
Simply reduce the building from EHB to HB, then find another EHB building and do the same to that one.
Why the hell should I do that?
2 reasons why ETC-LTC is effective.
- taking down the barricades to "heavily barricaded" gives the next zombie to log on a chance to break in. If you like, you can log in later in the day, check for feeding groans and join them inside.
- If a survivor logs on and recades, it takes a lot of AP to rebarricade from HB to EHB... building extra barricade levels becomes more difficult the higher the current barricade level is, but the chance of tearing them down remains the same.
So, this strategy is a way to both waste survivor AP by making it more difficult for them to keep the barricades up, and it also creates more opportunies for zombies to break in.
Enjoy your cherries!

Sweet, Gk'er.
For those of you wondering how much AP you need to take down barricades, it breaks down like this:
Loosely - around 4 AP Lightly - up to around 16 AP Quite Strong - up to around 28 AP Very Strong - expect to use about 40 AP Heavily - these can take up to around 52 AP

And, oh master statistician, is the breakdown of AP to rebuild the barricades back up? Based on data found on the wiki, it's just a slightly better chance of erecting the cade than bringing it down. Thus, the AP gain is a wash (for the AP you spend bringing a cade down to HB from EHB, the surivivor will spend the same amount of AP rebuilding it back to EHB). Here's the data I found from Revenant (pasted horribly, I'm too lazy to put it in a nice table... to see it nicely formatted, go here: wiki.urbandead.com/index.php/User:Revenant/Construction_Percentages ): Constructions Barricades AP spent Successes Chance 0 None 18 18 100%[1] 1 Loose 18 18 100%[1] 2-4 Light 58 58 100%[1] 5-7 Quite Strong 79 75 94.9%[1] 8-10 Very Strong 174 148 85.1% 11-13 Heavy 236 142 60.2% 14-16 Very Heavy 334 121 36.2% 17-21 Extremely Heavy 102 25 24.5% 1. Relies on scant data and therefore may not be particularly accurate.
