i didnt see a section for newbies, so i thought id make a thread here. Im new to the game all together, ive read over a few basic things but not all too much. I read somewhere that you guys help new zeds? You seem like a nice group and i was wondering if i could join in the human hunting festivities

Yo necro, welcome to the extinction game. You join by putting 'Extinction' in your profile settings and following the targets in the shoutbox. You'll get access to the forum target discussions when the admin gets back from R&R. There's a bunch of info on the Taccon including a 'Skills' section on how we operate. Basically Extinction's gameplan is to completely ruin suburbs, block by block, starting out from the NW corner and Dakerstown. We've just destroyed Quarlesbank again and now we're ruining the free runs out of it into its neighbours. Extinction doesn't leave a town to revive, like most of the other zombie groups in UD. We stay and keep it dead until the last major survivor counter attacks are repelled and the ruins mature. Then we patrol its NT's to keep them ruined and the survivor insurgencies down. It's a scorched earth policy, blitzkrieg followed by search and destroy, we salt the land behind us and spread the Necrotech infection to the next suburb. The ultimate goal is the extinction of revival in Malton and practically speaking that means helping turn Urban Dead into an actual zombie apocalypse game. |

im currently at lamport hills, and which profile settings do you mean. some section on urban dead or no the forums?

No, in your city screen ... click on settings under your name then enter Extinction in your group text box.
And how's Lamport going? If you'd like to move west into West Boundwood we're trying to keep that ruined as a buffer for Quarlesbank.

alright i finally found the screen and made the changes, lamport hills is fairly barricaded from what i can see, theres a few zombies here but no survivors from what i can see. I broke into one building but i cant open doors  |
