I was revivified against my will, but am now infected and losing HP. I managed to get into a police station behind some barricades with about 20+ people. I searched for ammo until I was down to 1 HP, and tomorrow morning (provided no one heals me) I'll search again to die, stand up, and eat their tasty brains.
My question is this: can the other humans see my infection, or my HP?

Those with diagnosis can see your HP but not your infection.

Im pretty damn sure that a survivor can notice when another is infected....im about 99.9% sure. :/

Well if you'll have 50 AP you can eat a tasty brain or two, but after that, if you have enough AP, get the **** out before they overkill you.

Bah. My plan didn't work, since some Good Samaritan healed me.
On the flipside, another infected survivor showed up overnight and asked for a heal, so I obliged. With my shotgun.
Half experience is better than no experience, eh?

To clear this up:
Diagnosis can detect the HP of survivors Scent Blood can detect the HP of survivors AND if they are infected
Both work whether zombie or survivor. EDIT: Diagnosis carries over to undeath, Scent Blood does not carry over to being a breather.
It's really hard to pull off what you tried - waiting 24 hours and not getting a heal from another player. If you do get a revive and are still infected it's better just to use the AP you have left. Basically that combat revive got you past the barricades and straight to the brains. As you tend to only have about 20-24 AP left when you stand as a zombie, I'd just infect as many as possible.
Especially good is if you have Feeding Groan, as you can call other zeds to your building (do this first).

Both work whether zombie or survivor. I know Diagnosis works as a zombie, but I don't believe the stank skills work as a human. If they do, I think that's something new. So, I don't believe humans can differentiate revivified corpses from garden variety proto-zombies and I'm pretty sure they can't detect infections. Also if they don't have Diagnosis, I don't believe humans can see HP scores, even with the proper snoot skill.

My mistake, it appears that Scent Blood DOES NOT work when you are a survivor - meaning survivors cannot tell who is infected. Scent Death, on the other hand, DOES carry over. Meaning survivors can distinguish revivifying bodies from normal dead ones. Not very useful, but there you go. The Zombie Skills page on the wiki has all the correct information.

Ah, OK. We were both half-right then. Thanks for the clarification.

Half experience is better than no experience, eh? Here's one thing you can do to annoy the survivors. If they do heal you, take advantage of their hospitality. First take down the barricades. It's easier to take them down from the inside. And of course you do want to invite some friends in for the party, right? Once the barricade is down, Jump from the window to your death. Now simply stand up as a Zombie, full of vim and vigor and lots of hitpoints, and enter the station (assuming you can open doors). Sure you used some AP in this manuveur. But you can still do some nice damage. Plus think of all the wasted resources by the survivors on you. An revive, heals from a med kit or two, all the time spent building a barricade .. gone. And the building is now wide open for any passing zed to enter and have a quick meal.

In reference to the original question, an excellent tactic when you can't kill everyone in the room is to hit the 60HP survivors with 2 claws and an infected bite. A survivor with 56HP is most likely infected, but a 50HP survivor looks totally normal and doesn't trigger flags in the browser add-ons many players use.
